Photo Gallery: The Sea
|
After having left the bus south of Oslo to walk to the camp site,
I noticed the boat moving in the breeze.
Fascinated by the simple, somewhat perfect picture, I watched it for a while
before I released the shutter.
|
From a viewpoint 510 m above sea level, 30 minutes before sunset,
I observed the play of the sunlight and the clouds over the ocean.
|
On my first day on Madeira, it took me hours to drive to the hotel because I felt overwhelmed by Madeira's natural beauty.
On one of my many stops, I saw how the Atlantic ocean met the rocks and produced a mighty surf.

I had just arrived at the Valdemarsvik camp site at Sweden's east coast,
when I noticed that the moonwas rising over the baltic sea's bay.
I managed to set up my tripod and get this photograph just before it hid behind the cloud layer.

I was going for day trip to Madeira's neighbour island Porto Santo and was waiting for the ferry to leave.
Shortly after the sunrise, the clouds over the neighboring so-called Desert Islands
(Ilhas desertas) and the light cooperated in this dramatic performance.

I spent an evening in Teneriffa's Northwest. The surf at the rocky beach was so strong
that at one time, I had to take off my camera and run, otherwise a wave would have ran me down.
