I noticed this remarkable bird house on an Indian property.

During a break in a cabin, I set down my satellite phone.
Shortly afterwards, I saw a feral mouse scurrying around the floor and gnawing at the phone.
As the phone was uneatable, I gave it a piece of walnut.

The total solar eclipse of 11th August 1999 was a major event.
I went to the wineyards to watch it.
There was an almost closed cloud cover and it rained.
Luckily, I had brought my "own sun", drawn on two sheets sewn together.
